Independent Onsite Contractor - New York

About Us:

Founded in 2003, we are a Midwest-based dental technology integration and support provider dedicated to delivering technical support and solutions to dental offices across the nation. As we expand, we’re looking for an IT Onsite Technician to support our New York partners.

Responsibilities:

As an IT Onsite Engineer contractor, you will be the go-to support for multiple areas across New York, resolving technical issues at dental offices. In this contracted role, you’ll build strong relationships with our partners, deliver exceptional customer service, and find effective solutions for a range of technical challenges. You’ll handle tasks related to hardware, software, phones, printers, and specialized dental imaging products.

This is an as-needed contract role, with tasks varying depending on demand.

Logistics:

• We’ll reach out when contract tasks are available in your area.
• If you accept, track your time with each partner and submit an invoice to our Accountant.
• Payment is processed within a few business days of invoice submission, with options for paper check or direct deposit.

Key Duties:

• Travel to dental offices within New York to address technical issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, phones, printers, and dental imaging products.
• Contribute to routine maintenance and installations nationwide as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must provide own standard tools for electronic equipment installations and have reliable transportation.
• Previous experience in onsite technical support or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with hardware, software, and dental imaging products is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and beyond if scheduled.

What We Will Need from You:

• Successful completion of a criminal background check (Medix will cover costs).
• W9 form.
• Insurance Certificates.
